A SHOE LIKE NO OTHER

We really can say it: Pantofola d’Oro is a unique shoe, inimitable, and produced following the ancient criteria of the artisans. It is, in its new version, the result of a century old tradition of craftsmanship by master shoemakers from Ascoli.

Take any shoe from today and compare it with a Pantofola d’Oro. Touch and feel the immense difference, as great as is the difference between night and day.

THE REASON IS THAT THE PANTOFOLA D’ORO IS PRODUCED WITH THE MOST PRECIOUS LEATHERS, AND IS MOUNTED AND STITCHED ENTIRELY BY HAND.

And now look at a pair of Pantofola close-up and observe the slight differences between the left and the right shoe. This again is a feature of the Pantofola, in that the singular anatomic form which each foot has is reproduced in the shoes.

THIS TYPE OF ATTENTION TO DETAIL MAKES THE SHOES PARTICULARLY COMFORTABLE AND IS THE RESULT OF MORE THAN HALF A CENTURY OF EXPERIENCE GAINED IN THE WORLD OF FOOTBALL.

WHEN ‘MADE IN ITALY’ REALLY MEANS SOMETHING

The ‘Made in Italy’ claim is much overused and risks reducing all to a sameness. However, when an object, an accessory, an instrument is actually made entirely in Italy the difference in quality stands out a country mile.

This is the case with Pantofola d'Oro, a shoe produced entirely in Italy using as material real Italian leather. The same description applies to all other materials used, including the sole, and all production phases are carried out in Italy too: cutting, manufacturing, assembly, final quality check. Of course the customers are not always Italian and are sometimes Brazilian, German, English, Welsh, Argentinian, Russian, Dutch, Spanish ... but that is another story.

YES, IT CAN REALLY BE SAID THAT THE PANTOFOLA D’ORO IS THE MOST AUTHENTIC EXPRESSION OF MADE IN ITALY

There is another important aspect to mention, one which ensures that every shoe is made in Italy. You see, every Pantofola requires an expert manuality and in this field we Italians have a tradition that goes back centuries.

Each and every shoe is subject to a long production process: the objective of our workshops is expressed in terms of quality and not of speed of production. Suffice it to know that each shoe, three quarters of the way through the production process, is put to rest for a whole night before the production can be completed.

YES, A WHOLE NIGHT, SO THAT THE SHOE ITSELF FORMS PERFECTLY AND HAS THE NECESSARY TIME TO ‘MATURE’ AND IN THIS WAY IT KEEPS ITS INTEGRAL STRUCTURE FOR A CONSIDERABLE TIME AHEAD

OUR STRENGTH IS IN OUR QUALITY

The quality of our work is beyond comparison. It is for us both an objective and a result, and this is always the case.

< class="text">The quality in the production process is as detailed as can be: seventy two working processes lead to the finished Pantofola d’Oro. From the sole in leather, to the softness of the uppers - this obtained due to the particular maturing process, no aspect is taken for granted.

The quality of the Made in Italy product is there for all to see.

The quality of the craftsmanship is seen in every detail of the shoe: the toecap, the heel reinforcement, the precious coloured skins coloured by hand once the shoe is mounted, and the super light tanning are all parts of the process done entirely in Italy.

The quality of the artisans born of a long tradition is another essential and undeniable aspect.

Quality is key from the beginning to the end. Pantofola d'Oro considers its human resource as a fundamental asset: nothing is more important than the experience of our workforce, the ability in their hands, the know-how in their approach. This is the real patrimony of Pantofola d’Oro, passed down over decades from one generation to another.
